As an NYPD Detective, Anthony made over 600 arrests concerning murders, shootings, assaults and illegal firearms. He was also serving as Fire Chief in Island Park, NY when Superstorm Sandy devastated the region. Most recently, he was elected to Hampstead, NY Town Council before winning his seat in Congress.
