Who is he?
Congressman Gabe Vasquez represents New Mexico’s 2nd District. Before stepping into politics, Gabe worked as an environmental advocate and business leader, which gave him a deep understanding of both economic and environmental challenges. He worked in local journalism, as director of community relations for the New Mexico Wildlife Federation, and as deputy director for the New Mexico chapter of the Wilderness Society. He’s passionate about addressing climate change, protecting public lands, and fighting for working families. Known for his down-to-earth approach and ability to listen to his community, Gabe is dedicated to making life better for everyone in his district.
