Jared Moskowitz is a Democratic U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 23rd Congressional District, which includes parts of Broward and Palm Beach counties. Born on December 18, 1980, in Coral Springs, Florida, he has a background in public service and law. Moskowitz served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2012 to 2016, where he focused on issues such as school safety and public health. Before entering Congress, he was appointed as the Director of the Florida Division of Emergency Management, overseeing the state’s response to disasters, including hurricanes and the COVID-19 pandemic.
