Who is she?

Congresswoman Julia Letlow is a Republican representing Louisiana’s 5th Congressional District. Born in Monroe, Louisiana, she earned a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in speech communication from the University of Louisiana Monroe and later a PhD in communication, serving as the Executive Director of External Affairs and Strategic Communications at the University of Louisiana Monroe. Julia had no intentions of joining Congress until her husband, Luke, ran for Congress and tragically died from Covid before being elected. Julia fulfilled his pursuit, winning the seat and now recently winning re-election.
