Who is she?

Congresswoman Kat Cammack is a Republican representing Florida’s 3rd Congressional District. Born in Denver, Colorado, she grew up on a cattle ranch and is a third-generation commercial sandblaster. After her family lost their ranch, she experienced homelessness before finding her way into politics. She earned a BA in International Relations from Metropolitan State University of Denver and a Master of Science in National Defense and Strategic Studies from the United States Naval War College. Before her election to Congress, Kat served as chief of staff to her predecessor, Rep. Ted Yoho, from 2013 to 2019.
