Kevin Kiley

Who is he?

A former teacher for Teach for America and national collegiate debate champion, Kevin was a major player in recalling California governor Gavin Newsom and ran against him for the governor’s seat in the 2021 recall election. Born and raised in Rocklin, California, he attended local public schools before earning a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University, a law degree from Yale University, and a master’s in secondary education from Loyola Marymount University. Before entering politics, Kevin worked as a high school English teacher and later as a prosecutor. He and his wife, Chelsee, reside in Roseville, California.
