Tragic Déjà Vu
Sadly we begin yet another Happy Hour mourning the tragic loss of American lives in mass shooting, this time another one involving 9 year old school children. The gang tries to examine this senseless (and preventable) epidemic in our country through the lens of leadership, specifically asking what kind of leadership exists among our elected officials and what’s it going to take to stop this?
Then we dive into Pell Grants, which Michael assumed had something to do with Peloton exercise bikes, before unpacking the political circus that was the Congressional field trip to a DC jail to visit…the jailed insurrectionists. It’s all a little bonkers, which is why we pour cocktails.
